Organic Designs Meets Modern Forms in the Gabby High Point Showroom

Get to know Marie and the space she designed before you plan your trip to High Point!

What is the inspiration/concept behind your space?

I wanted the sculptural lines and forms of Gabby’s latest introductions to speak the loudest. It’s a timeless and classic space that still feels modern, highlighting organic materials through layering and depth.

How did the Gabby products help pull this concept together?

What a thrill to have so many new pieces at my fingertips! I stayed true to my signature design aesthetic and drew inspiration from the authentic materials and beautiful shapes.

Was there a certain trend or product characteristic that you made sure to incorporate?

I fell in love with the clean, gorgeous lines of the Paulina sofa and made it front and center! Also, I couldn’t pass up the finishes on the Zilar Chair and Raya Chair.

What makes your space different compared to the rest of the Gabby showroom?

My vignette shows most of the new furniture pieces in white, so the textures and forms take center stage. Not only because I’m known for my light and bright spaces, but also so that designers visiting the showroom can visualize the pieces in a new way.

What do you want to make sure other interior designers or wholesale dealers take away when they see your space?

I hope that they are inspired to put their own design spin on each new piece! One of the benefits of presenting them in white is that designers will be able to visualize what their own chosen fabric might look like. Additionally, I feel it is beneficial to see how the new offerings will function in the context of a fully executed space.
