Tens of  thousands of designers and retailers converged on High Point Market, known as the furniture capital of the country, October 14-18 in search of inspiration and the newest furnishing trends to pass along to their clients. This highly discerning group covers nearly 11.5 million square feet of showroom space to curate thousands of new products to find the freshest resources for their clients.

And the Gabby showroom did not disappoint as designers, editors and retailers got a look at more than 100 new introductions reflecting sophistication and style.

Style Spotters

Lance Jacson and David Ecton of Parker Kennedy Living spot the Carla Lamp

Several High Point Market Style Spotters, who are leaders in the home fashion industry, visited the Gabby showroom in search of the latest trends. The Carla table lamp, with its overlapping bubbles in shades of blue, was spotted by David Ecton and Lance Jackson of Parker Kennedy Living.

“You know we adore the Gabby line and products! We loved the lamp for its clean line profile with its traditional shape and feel,” said Lance and David. “The blue and white modern graphics are so fresh and current we were drawn right to it!”

Stacy Garcia spots the Nolan Chair

The Nolan Chair with its beautiful curved silhouette and gray finished rattan with dark brown leather wrapping details caught the eye of Stacy Garcia.

Style and Homes Editors

Delano Console Table spotted by Clint Smith of Vernanda magazine

Teams from Domino, Traditional Home, Milieu, Home Accents Today, Hearst Design Group and many more all visited the Gabby Showroom.

“Gabby does such a great job with scale and making things feel unique,” said Jessica Romm, Editor-in-Chief of Domino magazine. “And everything in the showroom feels so fresh and cool.”

Clint Smith, editor-in-chief of Veranda magazine, instantly spotted the Delano Console Table. He loved the intricate details of the piece, which was inspired by a French antique and mixes beautiful hand applied finishes with carving details.

Whiskey Business

Designers and editors filled our showroom for one of the highlights of the market, The Gabby Whiskey Business party. Guests enjoyed a bourbon tasting, hors d’oeuvres and selfies wearing “wayfarer” sunglasses.
