Let’s face it. When you think of storage, do you automatically think of the endless plastic storage displays that pop up in January as soon as the Christmas decorations go on markdown? While all these containers can be practical, Gabby believes that designing storage that’s both beautiful and useful is important in today’s homes. We looked to a few designers for their favorite pieces that are storage friendly and best of all, hide the clutter.
Interior designer and antiques dealer Shannon Eldredge loves the simplicity and style of the Rosalyn Chest. “With its marble top, the Roslyn chest can be used in a living room or family room as a bar. Gabby is also known for designing versatile chests. One particular favorite is the new Chancellor Chest that can do triple duty – great as a television console, useful as a chest in a bedroom or wonderful as a sideboard in a smaller dining room space. And the mix of stone and oak will work with just about any décor.
