Get your holiday home ready with these stylish designer tricks.

This December, will you deck your holiday home with beautiful Holly? Or maybe Ruby, Reese or Libby are more your style. We asked three talented interior designers to share their best styling tips for a joyful holiday home. Read on to reveal each designer’s holiday home makeover! Trust us, you don’t want to miss these breathtaking Christmas transformations.

Merry & Bright: How 3 Designers Style Their Home for the Holidays
Create a sparkling holiday paradise with these great styling tips from three interior designers.

1. Decorate with existing home decor. The holidays are about peace and unity…not clashing decor! “Don’t fight the style of your home,” warns Mollie Openshaw of Design Loves Detail. Instead, use your existing interior style to inspire your holiday decor. “There are many ways to add seasonal accents without compromising your own personal style,” she explains. For example, Mollie added elegant pine stems to her favorite pitcher, creating an instant holiday centerpiece.

Mollie favors organic accents, like this white pedestal bowl filled with wooden beads. She adds, “It looks perfect atop  the Gabby Terrance Chest and next to the Ellington Table Lamp!”

2. Invest in quality holiday decorations.
Monica Lavin, the creator of Lavin Label, believes holiday decorators should “keep it simple and invest in items that you can use year after year.” To do this, stick with a classic color palette (Monica’s favorite is gold and red) and carefully select seasonal decor that you will cherish for years to come. Which pieces make the best investment? We favor high-end accents, like creamy table linens, luxe crystal drinkware and antique holiday decorations.

Monica’s pastel-toned guest bedroom is ready to welcome holiday guests. She says, “I love to create traditions when I can to make decorating for the holidays meaningful and fun with the family.”

3. Reinvent your holiday style with gorgeous color.
Over at The Leslie Style , founder Leslie Biggley loves to amplify her holiday style with vibrant color. She shares,“ This year, my home felt like hydrangea blue would be the perfect compliment to our new coastal renovation.” Strung from the garland and Christmas tree, this lovely shade makes her glamorous holiday decor feel “cohesive and warm.”

Out with the old, in with the bold! Leslie says, “I love to reinvent my holiday decor every year by completely changing up my colour scheme.” This year, she opted for hydrangea blue accents.

Holiday Home Reveal: Decorating with Summer Classics Home
3 Gabby StyleMakers open their homes for an amazing holiday reveal.

Organic Modern Holiday Home
Designer: Mollie Openshaw, Design Loves Detail

Holiday Style: Fresh, organic and airy. Mollie loves neutral tones and layered textures, plus tons of holiday greens to invite the serenity of nature indoors. Best known for her approachable organic modern style , Mollie remains loyal to her signature aesthetic when decorating for the holidays. Her Christmas staples include faux pine greenery and brass bells, which she accents with fresh new elements each year. For 2019, Mollie has added faux eucalyptus and bay leaf greenery to her usual pine garlands.

Mollie’s holiday home is filled with timeless treasures from Gabby. In the entryway, guests are greeted by Gabby’s Bennett Stools, and in the dining room, our Kennedy Dining Chairs and the Watson Banquette frame the table. Washed wooden beads and felt bow wreaths complete this irresistible holiday look!

Guest Bedroom Holiday Refresh
Designer: Monica Lavin, Lavin Label

Holiday Style: Steeped in tradition, with accents of red and gold. Monica loves to celebrate the hospitable spirit of Savannah, GA––sometimes called ‘The Hostess City’––whenever she can. However, this winter, Monica decided to create a calming retreat for her holiday houseguests. (You might remember Monica’s stunning six-step guest bedroom makeover that we shared this summer.)

Gabby’s enveloping Aria Bed is the room’s centerpiece. It is framed by the May Nightstand, Alexis Chest and Sophia Bench. Although Monica prefers to decorate using only “essentials,” she does adore citrus greenery, magnolia leaves, ribbons and other festive accents. Downstairs, Monica will incorporate royal blue into her decor this year. “I style my holiday tablescape differently each year with new dinner napkins, flowers and salad plates,” she shares.

Lake House Holiday Dining Room
Designer: Leslie Biggley, The Leslie Style

Holiday Style: Modern, feminine, and coastal. This Christmas, Leslie is taking her coastal vibe into ‘Palm Beach Glam’ territory, wowing holiday guests with flashes of gold and woven rattan. Each holiday season, Leslie introduces a new color scheme into her seasonal home decor. However, a few tried-and-true “holiday staples” always make an appearance: homemade popcorn garland, boxwood wreaths, and gold tinsel. What’s new for Leslie’s 2019 holiday home? Hydrangea blue accents, decorative gift boxes and evergreen wreaths “in every window.”

Step inside the dining room, and you’ll be whisked away into a winter wonderland. The dining table is surrounded by scalloped Coralee Dining Chairs from Gabby, while a spectacular Sandra Chandelier crowns the room with beads and golden finials. On the table, timeless brass candlesticks and white taper candles illuminate holiday gatherings.
