Q: How did you get your start in design?

PP: I was blessed to start my first business at 17 when I opened my own hair salon. I always enjoyed decorating my own home and had so many friends and family asking who my designer was that I finally decided to take a leap of faith to start a new business venture in design.

Q: How did you start your business?

PP: The Lord has been faithful to continually lead us and open the doors that only He could open with Pineapple Park. We rented a small 600 square ft. warehouse, packed it full of furniture and accessories, and began serving clients by appointment only. We quickly outgrew that space within three months as our business expanded beyond anything we could have dreamed. Today our cup continues to overflow.

Q: Tell us a little about your design style.

European rustic elegance and timeless urban comfort.

Q: Which Gabby items are your favorite?

Your lighting is incredible. It rocks my world and I love it immensely.

Q: What do you tell your clients are the must have items?

Lighting, it’s what sets the tone for every room.

Q: What are some of the biggest design mistakes that you see people make?

Dark and overly heavy styles that don’t transition well and will not remain timeless.

Q: We love all the lighting options in your shop!  What do you look for when it comes to lighting?

Scale and shape are key for a space. I am constantly looking for new and creative designs that bring warmth and beauty to make a house a home.downtownwoodstockproject

Q: How does Southern design differ from the rest of the country?

True southern design has a gracious warmth that is inviting to the family and their guests.

Q: Anything else you’d like us to know about you?

It’s a privilege to do what I love! (Even the worst days are great!)  I’m thankful to all our vendors and their creativity.  They inspire us with their vignettes and design expertise.  Blessed!
