As a trendsetter in the home design industry, our Gabby team listens to what our customers want and provides them with fresh new products that reflect their design styles. Atlanta Market, to be held January 10-17, provides us with the opportunity to do just that as we showcase our latest line for 2017 with an innovative approach in our showroom. “Gabby is such a unique mix of furniture that flows well together,” says Creative Director Chris Hutchens. “That’s why we wanted to create themes in each of the rooms in our showroom to present all the different styles that we offer and how well they complement one another.”
Balancing Old and New
“We’re combining some of the antiques that we brought back from France with some more modern furniture to show how nicely they contrast,” says Hutchens. “Even though they’re two different styles, we want to illustrate how something like a modern sofa looks great with an oil painting from the 1700s.” Geometric shapes, gold leaf and acrylic are all hallmarks of the new Gabby products presented in this room.
Casual & Comfortable
“The room that we’re calling the ‘comfort room’ is more of a casual comfort with a lot of style to it,” says Hutchens. “We’re creating more designs geared towards comfort with things like deep, fluffy seating.” This room reflects a relaxed, refined look with a twist that makes it more designer driven. Everything in this room is more natural with neutral tones and features our ever-popular Wesley chairs.
Coastal Charm
“A lot of our furnishings can go more coastal,” says Hutchens. “So we’re putting together a good mix of materials that have a seaside feel to them such as aged wood with a whitewash finish and a mix of rattan chairs.” Customers will also discover several beaded chandeliers and lamps with bluish and pink tones here.
Masculine Study
“The Columbia Cabinet serves as the centerpiece for the room we’ve designated as a study area,” says Hutchens. The large cabinet makes the perfect storage for books and looks great with our leather settee and Cyrano coffee table.
A Classic Style
“The room we also call the ‘blue room’ is filled with a blue sofa and blue accents,” says Hutchens. “Blue will always be a classic color.” The blue furnishings pair nicely with the Courier Chest, the Ashton Mirror and the Rachel Chandelier.
More New Arrivals
Our new products continue to feature the materials that our customers love. We have used them in many refreshing new ways. The acrylic bar stools, which have been extremely popular items, will now be offered in chrome. We’re also presenting more concrete and wood combinations such as the Troy Hall Table. Other mixed material introductions include the Francesca Coffee Table, which features a gray marble stone top that insets on a wood base. The Lucius console table made from champagne metal with black mirror also serves as a bar cart, providing two rolls of wine storage on both sides of the table.
