Gabby returned to Las Vegas Market this past July in a shared space with sister company Summer Classics in showrooms C-1396 and C-1388. Our designers have even more introductions planned for the winter market to be held January 28 -February 1 that have a hint of the unexpected and a sophisticated, casual feel. Rattan will be a big material used for Gabby this market. Since it’s a very organic and natural material, we’re able to do unique things with it–softer lines that we can achieve with furniture. Because rattan is woven, we’re able to introduce interesting patterns into it.
Many of the new pieces that will be found at Las Vegas market aren’t overly fussy, but instead can be used to create comfortable, relaxed environments that reflect the way our customers on the West Coast live. Furniture for multi-use such as our storage pieces or new consoles that can double as desks make spaces feel both livable and inviting.
One design shift you’ll see at this market is that everything has really clean lines made using pretty materials and combinations that create classic forms. We’re also introducing items in different sizes that were popular at other markets. For instance, the Steadman Dining Table made of reclaimed oak with clean lines and soft, subtly arched aprons will now also be offered in a coffee table version.
Reclaimed wood continues to be popular so look for more great pieces made out of this material. There are also some great looking smaller tables that will be introduced this market made of interesting materials including acrylic, which blends seamlessly into spaces to keep rooms looking light and airy.
